Our Teacher Accelerated Program offers our Partner Schools with unique opportunity whereby we can upskill our teachers so they can hold the necessary Industry Qualifications to be able to delivery the VET in Schools Program to their students at their school, under the auspice-delivery model.
We recognise that Accredited Teachers have the skills and knowledge relevant to working with people, organising daily work activities, stress management strategies and will have been required to participate in WHS activities such as WHS induction, emergency procedures, WHS meetings and risk assessments. Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) takes into account the existing skills and knowledge you have already demonstrated in your workplace.

The TAP is a blend of RPL, online assessment and practical assessment undertaken with our Expert Health Professionals. For those units identified above as specific to health and community services and not suitable for RPL, you will be required to complete online knowledge assessments and undertake practical assessments with our Expert Health Trainers before being awarded these units of competency and a nationally recognised certificate of completion.

To be eligible for the Teacher Accelerated Program, applicants must hold a bachelor's degree in education or a related field.
Yes, the cost for a teacher to obtain the Dual Qualification: HLT23221 Certificate II in Health Support Services and CHC22015 Certificate II in Community Services is $450.00 per teacher. The fee for a teacher to complete their TAP to obtain the Dual Qualification: HLT33115 Certificate III in Health Services Assistance and CHC32015 Certificate III in Community Services is $450.00 per teacher.
